Just moved to the area and had breakfast here the day after the move. I will be a regular. The food absolutely slaps and it's a walk away. It damn near brings a tear to my eye how great the pricing is.
The service here is great, delicious food and pleasant service. Parking is really good here with lots of space. It's very busy on the weekend but you won't wait too long for your food. The kitchen staffs are definitely very experienced in dealing with the high number of orders placed. I thoroughly enjoyed eating here.
4 words to describe this place: old school philly jawn. I love a good old school diner, and this place has all the old school diner vibes. I went on a Saturday morning, place was super busy, so I ate at the breakfast counter. The kitchen is fully exposed so I enjoyed watching the cooks whip up the food and chaos of it all reminded me of that show on hulu "The Bear". The menu was excellent, lots of choices to pick from (both breakfast and lunch). And the prices were reasonable as well. I had the cheesesteak omlette - it was delicious! And the service was phenomenal a lot of young high-school kids working and they did a fabulous job! I always had a full cup of coffee. 5 stars.
Both street parking and parking lots are available. Saturday 10 am is quite a busy time. The vibe is friendly and welcoming. Standard but good quality menu/food.
We've been multiple times and have never been disappointed. Haven't had the opportunity to sit inside. Anyway, the food is fantastic. Definitely recommend it.EDIT: As of 2/8/25 we had the opportunity to sit in side. It was the hustle and bustle of a normal diner atmosphere. There was about a 20 min wait. The staff was accommodating and doing there best to keep the flow going. Still 100% recommend going.
The 4th Street Cafe was a fantastic breakfast experience. The kitchen crew runs like a well oiled machine, the service is great and the food is terrific - some of the best pancakes I ever had. If I lived closer I’d be a regular. Keep up the great work
Excellent food. Go during the week. Another great experience. This time for dinner.
This place is busy and we were seated immediately. The coffee was hot and fresh. We ordered pretty quickly and the food was delicious. My eggs were cooked perfectly; I love dipping my toast in the yolk. The sausage was high quality and had a nice snap to it. My husband’s pancakes were delicious and his bacon was a nice balance of crispy and chewy. Classic diner at its best.
